The Caribbean lily, Hymenocallis caribea, is found in the wild as well as cultivated for its unusual flower and luscious scent. Native to the American tropics, the plant is in a continuous cycle of bloom and seed. In this painting a digital image of the dried blossoms was printed onto a painting of the flowering plant.
